The bible is God's word and it speaks to us as individual's not just His message for us all. As your relationship with God expands He will give you "eyes to see" and "ears to hear" more and more. You can't just sit and read it like a book, close it, call it done. No no no. It is amazing how much He has packed in just one verse! I will give some links to listen or explore and then give it a try yourself. When you sit and really read a passage and you somehow think it is referring to you then it most likely is. Some experience a "quickening" of the heart so to speak, but the point is you know it's relating to you. That's why it is good to ask God what message He has for you or ask Him your own question, open the Bible where you think and see what message He has for you.
One day I started getting curious about names, I never knew Bethlehem meant bread. Jesus is the bread of life! I started investigating because I couldn't understand why people would name their child certain names, they were sad or depressing. For example Jabez, "he makes sorrowful". He is remembered because he prayed a special prayer to turn his name around, change his future so to speak. 1 Chronicles 4:10 “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” Further info here...

The links here will be some of the most amazing things that have been found in the bible proving it is a work of the Holy Spirit as there is no way it could be written by man. Especially the dates it was written. For more on God's word see Fulfilling Prophecy page.

Moses and Jesus share many things alike and of course it was all intentional. They were both born and escaped death as infants, both went to Egypt, both walked the wilderness, so much more. But the point is it's one more way the bible is not only for telling Jesus first coming, it speaks of end times. It too speaks to us individually as Christ's followers. See More...
Ever wonder how the bible can be true?
Prophetic Numbers...
Do you find yourself seeing certain numbers repeatedly? For example, 11:11 on the clock or 222, 444, 555, 55, 44 etc.? This is one man's brief breakdown of the numbers. He offers books for further details. There was an afternoon that peaked my interest because I saw 2:22, 3:33, then 4:44, and lastly 5:55 which made me think of my alignment with God. I am always seeing numbers but look to the bible for the meaning. We are not to use oracles, tarot cards, Ouja boards, mediums etc. We are to trust in God and ask of Him.
